Auction Information
SILENT AUCTION RULES:
-
Unless otherwise stated, General Rules apply to the Silent Auction.
-
There will be a bid sheet next to every item in the silent auction. Each person wishing to bid does so by writing his/her name, bid number and amount of his/her bid on the bid sheet. Each new bid must be written on the next blank line available on the bid sheet.
-
Silent auction bids will be disqualified if they do not meet the MINIMUM BID.
-
ANYONE BLOCKING ANY BIDDER AREA 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE CLOSING OF THAT AREA WILL HAVE THEIR BID DISQUALIFIED.
-
Only an authorized committee member may nullify a bid.
-
The silent auction areas will be open for bidding at 7:00 p.m. and will close at 8:15 p.m. An announcement will be made prior to the closing of the Silent Auction to enable everyone the opportunity to place final bids.
-
No bidding may occur after the announcement that the area has been closed.
-
The closing bid circled by an auction official constitutes the winning bid. In the event of a dispute, the auction official will be the final authority.
