Mark Wills
Mark Wills found both personal and professional success in Georgia's capital city of Atlanta where he met his wife Kelly. They married in 1996, the same year "Jacob's Ladder" jump started his country career on Mercury Records. That single was followed by a string of Top 10 smashes: "Places I've Never Been" (1997), "I Do (Cherish You)" (1998), "Don't Laugh at Me" (1998), "Wish You Were Here" (1999), "She's in Love" (1999) and "Back at One" (2000). With its heartfelt message of tolerance and charity, "Don't Laugh at Me" garnered nominations from the Country Music Association for single, song and video of the year in 1998. In 2001, Wills released his fourth CD, Loving Every Minute, which included a duet with labelmate Jamie O'Neal. His Greatest Hits followed in 2002, featuring the huge #1 radio hit "Nineteen Somethin'." He released the album And the Crowd Goes Wild in 2003. Selling over two million records in his short career Mark continues to receive active airplay on country stations nation wide. Mark Wills Live at Billy Bob’s Texas is the 30th artist to appear on the World's Largest Collection of its kind. Mark Wills exhibits the vocal delivery that would make any singer give an accepting nod. It was a special night as the crowd went wild for their wholesome county hero. Fresh off of a USO trip entertaining the troops in Iraq, Mark delivered his first live recording ever capturing all of his hits on one release, Live at Billy Bob’s Texas. Mark lives in Georgia with his wife Kelly, his two beautiful girls Mally and Macy, and the latest family addition a St. Bernard named Lila.
