Ray Donaldson
Ray Donaldson broke new ground in the NFL becoming the first African-American to play the center position. During his 17-year pro career with the NFL, he played 244 games - 13 years with the Indiana Colts, 2 years with the Seattle Seahawks and 2 years with the Dallas Cowboys. In 1993, he ranked third in franchise history in games played (184) behind only quarterback John Unitas (221) and punter David Lee (188).
He was All Pro for six years, Super Bowl Champion and Nominee of the NFL Hall of Fame. He was the starting center on the Cowboys’ 1995 Super Bowl championship team. In 2006, Ray was inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, inMacon Georgia.
